Top Co-Working Spaces in Crypto Valley

Crypto Valley in Switzerland has grown to be a global mecca for startups from around the world. Many of them decide to set up shop in Zug, Zurich or Geneva - and end up looking for a place work - hence the need for a convenient co-working space to operate from.

Obviously, there are many to choose from. And despite the generally high cost of living and working in Switzerland, these spaces provide affordable facilities, ammenities and an opportunity to connect, not only with other entrepreneurs, but also with VC funds, industry experts and more.

Here is a short list of the top co-working spaces to explore in Crypto Valley.

Trust Square (Zurich)

Founded in 2018 and hailed as the largest blockchain hub in the work (by square metres) Trust Square is a top location for companies wanting to plug into the dual world crypto and traditional finance in the heart of Zurich.

The night of its grand opening famously featured a bitcoin symbol projected on the facade of the Swiss National Bank just across the street.

Prices range from 400 - 600 CHF/month. Actual service offerings are not entirely transparent.

CV Labs (Zug)

Housed in a building formerly occupied by traditional industrialists, Crypto Valley Labs is a major hot spot in Zug for events, co-working and other happenings. Four floors and multiple event spaces include a Crypto Cafe on the ground floor. CVLabs also is home to startups in the CVVC incubator programme. Prices range from 95 CHF/month for 4 days of use per month to 1980 CHF/month for private offices.

Chainwork (Zurich)

The newest space to open up (spring 2019), Chainwork is a bit more off the beaten path than Trust Square - but within a few minutes walking distance of the Lake of Zurich. Its desks and event location are fully equipped in a most modern style. Prices for shared desks start at 695 CHF/month.

OfficeLab

With co-working spaces in Zurich (multiple), Zug, Basel and Baden, OfficeLab is one of the more extensive networks of spaces for entrepreneurs in Switzerland. The Zug location is housed in the historic Swiss Post building, a short walk from the Lake of Zug. Prices start at 550 CHF for workplaces (without company registration).

F10 Co-Working (Zurich)

A facility under the wing of the F10 Accelerator (backed by some of Switzerland’s largest banks) the F10 space is also located in Zurich, a short distance from the main train station. Its offering of space is smaller than some others - but also of top quality. Prices range from 550 - 650 CHF/month for shared or private desks.

Blockchain Propulsion

The newest kid on the blockchain - the Blockchain Propulsion accelerator programme aims to have hubs worldwide - its first two being in Zug (former Siemens complex near Zug train station) and Zurich (Fraumuenster). At the moment, pricing is available only for the Zug location (385 CHF/workspace).
